Mary-Kate Lee - Harp
Making her home in Central Pennsylvania, Mary-Kate Spring Lee is an award-winning harpist with over 20 years of experience. She performs often both as a soloist and with her acclaimed Celtic Nu-Folk Band, Seasons.
Mary-Kate has won the Mid-Atlantic Fleadh three times on Celtic Harp, as well as competing twice in Ireland. Mary-Kate is a multiple-time recipient of the Knot’s “Best of Weddings” Awards, The Knot Hall of Fame, and Wedding Wire’s “Brides’ Choice” award. Mary-Kate has also released multiple albums both with Seasons and as a soloist, including her latest release "Tunes in the Morning" which is a capstone project from her year of harp studies with Grainne Hambly, thanks to a grant from the PA Council on the Arts.
Mary-Kate has performed at a wide variety of venues, including the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire as “Harper Lee” The PA State Capitol Rotunda, The McLean Celtic Festival, The National Apple Harvest Festival, The Bethlehem Music Festival, The Rose and Shamrock Festival, The Kutztown Folk Festival, Historic Acres in Hershey, and many more.
Abigail Kirkpatrick - Violin
Abigail Kirkpatrick is the orchestra and choir director at Spring Grove Area High School. Abigail graduated from Messiah College in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and a concentration in violin, and is on track to complete her Master’s Degree in Orchestral Conducting in December of 2019. In addition to teaching high school music, Abigail is involved with both music directing and playing for The Belmont Theatre throughout the year.
Anthony Haubert - Jazz Piano
Anthony has been active in greater Harrisburg area's music scene for more than 25 years. His repertoire is a mixture of familiar tunes from the Great American Songbook and jazz. Venues have included The Hotel Hershey, Irv's Pub, Country Club of Harrisburg, Country Club of York, Hershey Country Club and Open Stage, to name a few. In addition to his solo piano work, he does duo, trio and ensemble work, as well as accompanying.
Matthew & Sarah Topping - Piano / Cello
Residents of Midtown Harrisburg, Matt and Sarah Topping are a musical duo of the Capital Area. Both play music professionally and teach in the local public schools; Matt as choral director at Cedar Cliff High School and Sarah as an elementary instrumental music educator in the Central Dauphin School DIstrict. The Toppings graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 2013 with degrees in Music Performance/Sacred Music and Music Education, and Matthew recently received his Masters in Choral Conducting from Messiah University. As performers, Matt and Sarah can often be found in musical theatre pit orchestras, singing in the Harrisburg Camerata, and playing with the Hershey Symphony Orchestra. Both serve as Staff Singers at Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg, PA, as well. Their hobbies outside of music include reading, RV camping, and traveling!
Temple Avenue
Temple Avenue is a Lancaster-based jazz band that was founded in 2011. It plays for concerts, swing dances, parties, receptions, restaurants, fundraisers and other events in southcentral PA. The band adjusts the size, instrumentation and repertoire of the group to fit the client's occasion and budget.
Tracy Ensley - Violin/Viola
Tracy Ensley is a performer and teacher of violin, viola, and piano and harp. She is currently the assistant principal second violin with the York Symphony Orchestra. Mrs. Ensley has held the positions of Principal Second Violin at the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Assistant Principal II violinist at Greenville Symphony Orchestra. She has played with numerous other Symphonies such as Charleston Symphony and Symphony Tacoma, ArsViva Symphony, and the Lake Forest Symphony.
She has been a prizewinner in numerous competitions including the Samuel and Elinor Thaviu String Scholarship Competition, Union League Civic and Arts Competition, the James Glacking Memorial Music Competition, the Evanston Music Club Scholarship, the Farwell Award of the Musicians Club of Women, the Nancy Fuqua Memorial Musical Arts Competition and the Chicago/North Shore chapter of the American Guild of Organists competition. She has many years of professional experience as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral member, and accompanist. In 2011 Tracy soloed with three different orchestras, playing the entire Elgar Violin Concerto, the Max Bruch violin and viola Concerto, and Alexander Tchaikovsky's “Distant Dreams of Childhood.” She has performed as soloist with the Peninsula Music Festival Symphony Orchestra, the Northwestern Symphony Summer Orchestra, the North Suburban Symphony, the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra, the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra, and the Lake Forest Symphony.
Tracy graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance and Historic Keyboard and a Master’s degree in Viola Performance. During her time at Northwestern Tracy held positions as concertmaster in both the Northwestern University Chamber Orchestra and the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra. She studied violin and viola with Roland and Almita Vamos, and organ with Margaret Kemper and Douglas Cleveland.
She currently resides in Schaefferstown, PA with her husband and three wonderful children and she teaches at Forte Piano Music Studio.
Los Monstros - Latin-Fusion Band
“Los Monstros” brings a unique variety of cultures to the table in their own blend of styles representing the vast array of Afro-Caribbean & Latin Fusion music...including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and more. Jenny Huerter - Viola
Violist, Jenny Huerter, performs and teaches in the Central PA area. She attended the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, MD, earning a B.M. in Viola Performance in 2010 and an M.M. in Viola Performance and Pedagogy in 2011. Jenny studied viola performance with Victoria Chiang of the Peabody Conservatory and Peter Slowik of Oberlin Conservatory. She studied violin and viola pedagogy with Rebecca Henry, String Department Chair of the Peabody Preparatory. While living in Baltimore, she taught as a studio assistant within the Peabody Preparatory, served as violin/viola instructor for the Warren Fine Arts Academy of Music, and taught beginning violin and viola with the Greater Baltimore Youth Orchestra Bridges Program. After moving back to PA, Jenny taught private violin and viola lessons through the Community Music Institute at Lebanon Valley College, and currently teaches privately from her home. Jenny is a member of the York Symphony Orchestra and also performs regularly with other local groups in the Lancaster, Harrisburg and Reading areas. She now lives in Annville, Pennsylvania with her husband, Michael Gamon, and their four children. Jenny loves having the opportunity to serve her family and community through a pursuit of excellence in music, both in performance and teaching.
The Anthony Pieruccini Trio - guitar, bass, drums
The Anthony Pieruccini Trio is an experienced instrumental trio that plays a large variety of music, but specializes in jazz. The group has been performing since 2014 at places such as the Hotel Hershey, various dinner venues, and weddings. The trio features guitar, bass, and drums, and has experience filling a medium to large venue with sound, while also playing quiet enough to provide live music ambience for your smaller events. The trio is available in standard format, or as a quartet featuring a guest saxophone player.

Joseph McAnulty - Violin
Joseph McAnulty holds a Bachelor of Arts in music from Penn State University where he studied violin with James Lyon and orchestral conducting with Gerardo Edelstein. Prior to college he was a student of Brandon Christensen. Joe has been a member of the faculty at State Street Academy since 2007. Along with teaching over 30 private students, Joe also conducts three levels of string ensemble. As a professional violinist, he is a member of the York Symphony and performs with various chamber orchestras around the region. He has also adjudicated orchestra festivals for several years in the central Pennsylvania area, and was recently named the concertmaster of the Central Pennsylvania Symphony.
Mary-Grace Lee - Hammered Dulcimer
Mary-Grace has been playing Hammered Dulcimer professionally for over ten years, both as a soloist and with her acclaimed band, Seasons. Mary-Grace not only performs professionally as a musician but has also competed and placed in music competitions. Mary-Grace placed first in the Mid-Atlantic Fleadh in Miscellaneous Instrument. She has also competed at the All Ireland Fleadh in Ireland. Mary-Grace has performed in a variety of venues including The PA State Capitol Rotunda, Ironstone Ranch, Historic Acres of Hershey, The Abbey Bar, The Bethlehem Music Festival, Celtic Fling and Highland Games, and many more. Although Mary-Grace resides and performs in Central Pennsylvania, she has also performed in multiple countries including Ireland, Austria, Italy, Poland, and Israel.

Michelle Barraclough, flute
Michelle is a native of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. She holds a BFA in Flute Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from Catholic University. Michelle performs locally with the Greater Harrisburg Concert Band, York Symphony Orchestra, Central PA Oratorio Singers, and the Susquehanna Chorale. Michelle is currently Adjunct Professor of Flute at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA, where she teaches lessons, pedagogy, and coaches flute ensemble.
Kirstin Myers, oboe
Oboist Kirstin Myers holds degrees in Music Education and Oboe Performance from IUP and in 1999 she graduated summa cum laude as a full scholarship recipient from Michigan State University with a Masters in Oboe Performance. Since 2000 she has been on the faculty of Millersville University and York College of Pennsylvania and in 2016 was also appointed as oboe professor at Lebanon Valley College. In addition to her collegiate appointments, she is the oboe instructor at York College's YCPrep Community School and maintains a private studio at her home in the Lancaster area. She currently performs with the York Symphony Orchestra, Berks Sinfonietta, Reading Pops Orchestra, Trio Jolie, The Silverwood Trio and a newly formed piano/oboe duo, Double Keyed

Vera Solomin - Violin
Vera received her undergraduate degrees from Messiah University in Music Performance and Business Administration. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Ohio University in Music Performance and Pedagogy where she is a member of The Klinder Graduate String Quartet. Vera loves teaching and creating music (especially chamber music) with other musicians.
Erin Marshall - Violin
Erin Marshall is a 2020 graduate from Lebanon Valley College, BS Music Education, and BA in Music with a violin performance concentration. During her tenure at LVC, Erin studied with Dr. Johannes Dietrich. Erin was concertmaster of the LVC Symphony Orchestra since her sophomore year, and earned an envied senior leadership award, as well as performing two successful solo recitals. Beginning at the age of 8, Erin has had the opportunity to play in countless venues in a variety of positions, primarily in weddings and theatre orchestras. She was fortunate to perform in the Carnegie Hall in New York, New York at the young age of 16. She has played in countless weddings with a variety of repertoire, classical to contemporary. Erin is well seasoned in playing both written notation and by ear. Nowadays, Erin is the Elementary Strings Coordinator for Cumberland Valley SD and is pursuing a Masters in Music Education at Temple University.
Anthony Pieruccini - Solo Guitar
Anthony Pieruccini is a professional guitarist who studied at Lebanon Valley College. He specializes in fingerstyle guitar that varies from instrumental jazz, classical, and fingerstyle steel string acoustic. Anthony Pieruccini is available as a solo instrumentalist, as well as in an instrumental jazz duo (with piano, or second guitar), or an acoustic guitar and vocalist duo (featuring a guest vocalist)

Michael Gamon - Viola
Michael Gamon currently chairs the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Harrisburg Academy, and serves as the Director for the Center for Creative Arts. He serves as professor of viola at Kutztown University and has a passion for training young musicians. He has served on the artistic staff of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, as the conductor for the Baltimore Symphony Youth String Orchestra. In addition, he has served as the conductor for the Greater Baltimore Youth Orchestra’s Sinfonia, Sinfonietta, and Bridges Orchestras.
Mr. Gamon is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, where he studied viola performance with Victoria Chiang and pedagogy with Rebecca Henry. As an orchestral musician, he has worked with Marin Alsop, David Zinman, Jamie Laredo, George Manahan, and James Conlon among others. He has performed throughout Austria, Italy, and the Czech Republic with notable appearances at the Karlskirche in Salzburg, the Rudolfinum in Prague, and the Sala Dei Priori in Perugia. Performances include the nationally televised 32nd Kennedy Center Honors with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra in honor of Leon Fleischer, U.S. President George W. Bush, Baltimore Mayors Sheila Dixon, and Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. Additionally, Mr. Gamon has appeared in solo and chamber music recital series throughout the Baltimore and Central Pennsylvania regions.

Laura Ligo - Violin
Laura Ligo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, studying under Dr. Melinda Crawford Perttu. While there, Laura was principal violinist for Westminster College Symphony Orchestra, Vice President of the Westminster Chapter of American String Teachers Association, and performer in Ceol Na Teud Scottish fiddling ensemble. Locally, Laura is principal violinist for Jubal String Quartet and is part of Celebrated Strings. She has owned Laura's String Studio since 2015, and teaches violin and viola to students of varying ages and abilities. Although a Lancaster native, Laura currently resides in York county and works full time at Maryland Public Television in fundraising.
Nathan Lavender - Cello
The son of two professional cellists, Nathan Lavender has spent his life surrounded by music. Graduating from West Virginia University with a Bachelor's in Music Performance, he is also the recipient of the Lochner Scholarship for Outstanding Musicianship and has been a featured performer with the WVU Symphony Orchestra. In addition to traditional classical performance, he also has a focus on exploring a wide variety of genres including modern alternative rock, pop, and experimental music as a contributor to many local band's albums and concerts.
Brittany Crampsie - Cello
Brittany was a Baker Gifted Arts Scholar at Lehigh University where she was principal cellist for four years. She has performed with the Hershey Festival Strings, Harrisburg Youth Symphony, Hershey Symphony, Carlisle Theatre Company, Allenberry Playhouse/Keystone Theatrics, and infinite variations of local chamber groups.
Andrea Verna - Violin
While she primarily performs on violin and viola these days, Andrea Verna has enjoyed a wide range of orchestral, band, and choral experience, both as a performer and conductor. She studied music education at Duquesne University and Messiah University, and has studied violin with Veronica Joines, Mary Moser, Rachel Stegeman, and Peter Sirotin. Although her full-time occupation lies outside of music, she enjoys the opportunity to perform in pit orchestras and for weddings and other events on a freelance basis.
Bill Nork - Guitar
Bill Nork plays guitar, keyboards, electric bass, and other stringed instruments and has been playing music professionally in the Harrisburg area for over 30 years. His experience playing Jazz, Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Classic Rock and Original Music makes him able to perform in a wide variety of musical settings. He has also worked in pit bands for musical theater productions at Theatre Harrisburg, Allenberry Playhouse, Susquehanna Stage and many other local theaters.

Lyla Bowser - Flute
Lyla Bowser is a member of the music faculty of Edgar Fahs Smith STEAM Academy in the York City Schools. Ms. Bowser graduated from Messiah College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. She studies flute with Jocelyn Goranson and has previously studied with Karen Botterbusch. While completing her undergraduate degree, she performed with the Messiah College Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. A recipient of the Derek DeVelder Orchestral Fellowship, Ms. Bowser performed in the 2018 MasterWorks Festival Orchestra. She was the winner of the 2017 Messiah College Kuhlman Competition and the 2018 Messiah College Concerto Competition. She performed as flute soloist for the Fantasie Pastorale Hongroise by Franz Doppler with the Messiah College Symphony Orchestra in May 2018 and Concertino by Cecile Chaminade with the Carlisle Grand Sousa Festival in August 2018.
Geneva Rowader - Cello
Geneva Rowader is the orchestra director at Northern York County School District, where she teaches all levels of string musicians. Geneva holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Penn State University, where she studied with Kim Cook. Geneva is an active member of the Hershey Symphony Orchestra, and has enjoyed performing in numerous pit orchestras and wedding services.
Brenda Johnson - Cello
Brenda earned her B.S. in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in cello and piano. She graduated summa cum laude with a Masters in Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia. She is currently the high school orchestra director for Northeastern School District and teaches privately in York. Brenda is the recipient of the 2020 Pennsylvania/Delaware American String Teacher Association Director of the Year and the 2020 WITF Teacher Impact Award winner for York County. Brenda is a cellist with The Silverwood Trio, and the cello/guitar duo, Ten Strings, and played with York Symphony Orchestra for over ten years.. She also works as a freelance musician in the York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg areas.
Isaac Se Young Um - Cello
Isaac Se Young Um actively participates in community ensembles and music educational projects in central and eastern PA.
He has began learning piano, cello, and voice at the age of 5 in his native country, Korea. He moved to the greater Philadelphia area for high school, and continued to study cello under celebrated cellists such as Soo Bae and Joel Noyce at the Curtis Institute of Music. While in high school, he has excelled in music; he has won several seats for prestigious youth ensembles such as the PMEA festivals and the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra.
After high school, he moved to Lancaster, PA to attend Franklin and Marshall College, and then eventually transferred to Millersville University for a degree on music performance. In Lancaster, he has studied under late Dr. John Zerfluh and Sara B. Male. He's also studied conducting under Dr. Brian Norcross, and Dr. Vera Volchansky.
He actively participates in local projects and often collaborates with other artists. He has served as the assistant principal cellist of the Pennsylvania Philharmonic. Also, he's recently been a staff for the Summertrio Foundation, hosted at the Franklin and Marshall College.
Emily Remp - Violin
Emily is a student at Messiah College and is scheduled to graduate in 2021 with a B.S. in Music Education with a violin concentration. She is currently a principal in Messiah’s orchestra, but can also be found in some of the college’s chamber orchestras, playing weddings in Berks/ Lancaster Counties, and performing with Berks Sinfonietta. Outside of a classical music setting, Emily also plays in pit orchestras for Genesis Theatre in Reading and First Street Players in Birdsboro, and performs regularly at local churches. She loves teaching privately as well as at local strings camps in her spare time throughout the year.
Gregory Glessner - Violin / Viola
Gregory holds a Master of Music from Penn State University as well as a Bachelor of Music from Messiah College. At Penn State, he studied with James Lyon and Timothy Deighton. Gregory resides with his wife in State College, PA, and is an active performer and teacher. In addition to various chamber ensembles, he plays with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, the Altoona Symphony Orchestra, and as a pit musician at the Penn State School of Theatre.
Kyle Kirkpatrick - Cello
Kyle studied classical cello and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Music with a concentration in Commercial Music from Messiah College. During his time at Messiah, he studied under Fiona Thompson and Dr. Diana Curtis. He sat principal cellist all four years of his college career and won the Kuhlman Concerto Competition during his senior year. He currently works full time doing both music and live production at LCBC Church in Lancaster, PA and also works as a freelancing producer, recording engineer and studio musician in the Lancaster and York areas.
David Houck - Viola / Violin
David Houck is a violinist and violist from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is currently teaching music full-time in the Hempfield School District, where he attended school since the second grade. He has been playing the violin since he was nine years old and switched to the viola in middle school. David and his sister Amy played many weddings growing up, and he has since played in many collegiate and professional concerts, weddings, and formal events. He also has over ten years of experience teaching private lessons for violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, guitar, and ukulele.
Yang Han - Acoustic Guitar
Yang has been playing the guitar since the age of 6. In 2015, he relocated to the United States. Yang holds a Bachelor's degree in Pop Music Composition and Production from Nanjing University of the Arts. Since 2021, he has been employed at American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA, where he performs in their Christmas Show. To date, Yang has participated in a total of 236 shows with American Music Theatre. Yang's guitar skills encompass a wide range of genres, including classical, jazz, and contemporary music.
Sam Brown - Guitar
Sam Brown is a classical and jazz trained guitarist from York, PA who has been professionally performing since 2012. During his pre-college formative years, Sam studied at Inspire Music Studios under AJ Myers and Curt Sipe. He then went on to continue his studies at Messiah University where he majored in Commercial Music. His teachers include Randall Zwally, Grammy nominated jazz pianist Kirk Reese, and jazz saxophonist Tim Warfield. Sam reside in Lancaster PA where he continues his performing and teaching career with solo artists, pit orchestras, praise and worship bands, and many more.
James Nackley - Cello
James Nackley graduated from Penn State University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Orchestral Conducting from Messiah University in 2021, achieving summa cum laude at both institutions. James joined Northeastern York School District in 2017 where he directs third through sixth grade orchestra.
He was the recipient of the Pennsylvania Music Educators’ Association (PMEA) 2021 Outstanding Young Educator Award. He has completed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training through Leadership York, and currently sits on Northeastern School District’s Equity Task Force. Additionally, James serves on the State Board for the Pennsylvania Delaware String Teachers’ Association (PADESTA) as Studio Representative. He maintains an active cello studio of 30 students and lives in York with his Golden Retriever, Oakley.
Brianna Carnathan Payson - Violin
Brianna Payson graduated from Messiah College in 2018 with a B.A. in Music and B.S. in Business. While attending Messiah, Brianna performed in chamber ensembles and symphony orchestra, where she was concertmaster for all four years. Brianna plays both piano and violin and has had the privilege studying under several teachers including Peter Sirotin, Ya-Ting Chang, Dr. Jennifer Sacher-Wiley, and Mary Lippert-Coleman. Brianna has performed classical, sacred, and contemporary music in countless venues both as a soloist and in ensembles. She also enjoys teaching violin, viola, and piano lessons at her studio in Lancaster, PA.
Lynn Murphy - Violin/Viola
Lynn Murphy, violin and viola, obtained her BA in music from Temple University. She is a member of the York Symphony Orchestra, the Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra, the Pennsylvania Regional Ballet Orchestra, and is a founding member of the Allegro String Quartet. An active performer in the Central Pennsylvania region, Ms Murphy makes regular appearances with Harrisburg Choral Society, and has played for Harrisburg Opera, Lancaster Opera, Theatre Harrisburg, Cantate Carlisle, and many others. She is a former Resident Artist of the Wednesday Club for the Performing Arts, and played with the Lebanon Valley Alumni Chorale on their 2006 concert tour of Ireland and Wales.
Dalinda Bohr - Viola/Violin
Dalinda C. Bohr currently teaches at Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg, PA. where she instructs the high school orchestra program and teaches guitar. Mrs. Bohr previously taught the Conestoga Valley School District . In 2009, she achieved certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in the area of Orchestra: Early Adolescence Through Young Adulthood. A 1999 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Dalinda earned a B.S. Music Education with Honors, B.A. Music and a minor in German. As an undergraduate, Dalinda was instructed on both violin and viola from Dr. Johannes Dietrich. In 2006, she completed her Masters of Music Education degree also from LVC. She also earned a Masters Degree in Music Technology from Valley Forge Christian College in 2012. She continues to play both violin and viola professionally as a freelance musician throughout the region.
As a guest conductor, Mrs. Bohr conducted the Lancaster-Lebanon County Festival Orchestra (2003) as well as the Central Dauphin Elementary Honors Orchestra (2003, 2017) . She was the guest conductor for the Central Dauphin Middle School Honors Orchestra (2006, 2013), the PMEA District 7 Youth String Festival Orchestra (2009, 2017) and the Berks County Jr. High Orchestra.
An active member of PMEA, Dalinda hosted the PMEA District 7 Orchestra Festival in 2003, 2005 and 2011 and has served as the PMEA District 7 Curriculum Instruction Chair and HS Representative from 2010-2016. She also served on the Pennsylvania-Delaware Chapter of the American String Teachers Association from 2003 – 2016. During her tenure on the PADESTA Board she was recognized as Orchestra Director of the Year in 2015 and for Distinguished Service (Individual) in 2016.
For the past 23 years, she has been the string teacher for Lebanon Valley College Summer Music Camp. Dalinda also teaches an intergenerational ensemble for beginner-intermediate musicians of any age at the Community Music Institute of Lebanon Valley College.
Morgan Hackett - Violin
Morgan Hackett grew up in Palmyra, PA, and attended Lebanon Valley College where she earned a bachelor of science in music education and a bachelor of arts in violin performance. She is currently pursuing her masters in orchestral conducting at Messiah University while teaching orchestra in the West Shore School District and working with their marching band. Morgan has spent most of her theater time in the pit, playing in venues like the Fulton in Lancaster and Open Stage in Harrisburg, but was recently on the stage in Keystone Theatrics’ production of Once. She has also played with the Hershey Symphony, the Lancaster Symphony, and various string quartets.
Timothy McClure - Violin
In 2008, Timothy won the 1st Stage Competition in Lewisburg, WV and was invited to perform at the Greenbriar Hotel as a concert soloist. In 2011, he toured China with the BYU Chamber Orchestra, and in 2014 was appointed Concertmaster of the BYU Summer Opera Orchestra. In 2015, Timothy won the National Federation of Music Clubs Oscar Valentin Award, 1st Place. Currently, he performs with the Penn State Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestra, Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra, as a substitute with the York and Altoona Symphony Orchestra, and regularly with several churches in the central PA region.
Kathy Woodbridge - Violin
Kathy Woodbridge is a violinist in Harrisburg and the surrounding area. She is a member of the York Symphony Orchestra and the Allegro String Quartet. She also performs regularly with a number of local orchestras and ensembles such as the Dickinson College Community Orchestra and the Central Penn Symphony. Originally from Lancaster, she was a member of the Lancaster Symphony and the Hershey Symphony. She counts her studies with Zoe Cummings and John Eaken as her greatest influences. She also completed training with the Suzuki Association.
Michelle DiBona Trefren - Piano / Organ
Michelle DiBona Trefren, conductor/pianist/organist/vocalist, is a music educator with a passion for music literacy and artistic music making. In addition to being the Artistic Director of Cantate Carlisle, she is the Director of Music Ministries at Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle, PA, teaches piano privately, and has worked with musical theatre groups from Fayetteville up through Harrisburg.
Prior to working in Central PA, Michelle taught at Yokohama International School, directed the Tokyo International Children’s Choir, and has played piano and organ professionally since the year 2000. A graduate of Syracuse University, BM in Piano Performance, she received the Hira Poncha Memorial Award for Excellence in Piano Performance and the Arthur Poister Award for Excellence in Organ Performance. At Westminster Choir College, she received a MM in Conducting with distinction and has continued her studies to include Teacher Training at Rider University, Teaching Kodaly, and summer chamber choir programs at Westminster Choir College and the Presbyterian Association of Musicians conference. To supplement her musical life, she revels in speaking French, running, and hiking. Michelle especially loves spending time with her husband, daughter, son, dogs, and cat.
Donnamarie DiLabio Dietz - Viola
Donnamarie DiLabio Dietz is a free lance viola player who can be heard in various ensembles around the Central Pennsylvania area. She has played with the Harrisburg and York Symphonies, and the Gettysburg Chamber Ensemble. Dietz is a retired string specialist from the Northeastern School District. She currently resides in Lewisberry where she enjoys gardening,. cooking, travel, and teaching violin and viola lessons.
Jess Kling - Violin
Jess Kling is a Lancaster violinist, violist, and music teacher at Hempfield School District with music education degrees from Penn State and Kent State. She specializes in instrumental musical theater performance, and enjoys performing at the Fulton Theatre, Susquehanna Stage Company, and other local theaters. Jess has performed in the Mount Gretna Summer Concert Series, has soloed with Kompass Rose at the Lancaster Liederkranz, and appears on recordings by Mackenzie Paige and Lucille & The Wolf. Jess spends a week each summer teaching at the Elizabethtown College Music Camp, and also enjoys playing in chamber groups for special events.
Mary Lyle-Lepley - Violin
Mary Lyle-Lepley is a native of Warren, Pennsylvania where she began to play the violin at age nine. She graduated in May 2018 with a Master’s in Violin Performance from the University of Delaware. She also holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree and a Professional Performance Certificate from Penn State. An avid performer, Mary was a member of symphony, philharmonic, and chamber orchestras at the University of Delaware and Penn State. She has also participated in several chamber music ensembles at the collegiate level. As a soloist, Mary has given multiple solo recitals and received jury honors at Penn State for her rendition of the third movement of the Mendelssohn violin concerto. She has also appeared as a section player in the Altoona Symphony, Williamsport Symphony, and Music at Penn’s Woods. Her primary teachers include Christopher Wu, James Lyon, and Xiang Gao. She currently teaches orchestra in the West Shore School District.

The Allegro Quartet
The Allegro String Quartet has been active in the Harrisburg Region since 1996. Members draw on a wealth of professional and personal experiences, including 20 years with the United Air Force Band, solo recitals, and many years of performing internationally, around the U.S, and nearby in Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.
Jacob Frasch - Piano
Jacob Frasch has more than 30 years' experience as soloist, chamber musician, accompanist, orchestra keyboardist, pit musician, and religious-services musician. He is fluent in numerous genres, from classical to pop, and has performed in hundreds of recitals and concerts across the United States, including on NPR's Morning Edition and the New York Times website, and at Merkin Hallin New York City and the United States Department of State in Washington, D.C.
Brian Buterbaugh - Cello
Brian Buterbaugh is the Music Director/Conductor of the York Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra Director at Hershey HS. Mr. Buterbaugh also teaches graduate-level low string pedagogy at Messiah University and has taught orchestra and conducting classes at Lebanon Valley College. In 2023, he was named the Orchestra Director of the Year by the Pennsylvania-Deleware American String Teachers Association. Under his direction, the Hershey HS Concert Orchestra won acceptance to perform at the PMEA All-State Convention in April 2025.
Aside from his duties with the YYSO, Mr. Buterbaugh is a highly-requested guest conductor throughout the Capitol Region and beyond. Mr. Buterbaugh maintains a private cello studio and is a frequent performer in the area. His private cello students range in age from middle schoolers to PMEA All-State Orchestra participants. Along with frequent freelance work, Brian has performed with symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles from throughout Pennsylvania.
Mr. Buterbaugh received his BME from Penn State University, M.M. in Orchestral Conducting from Messiah University, and M.M.E. from the University of Nebraska. Additional coursework has been completed at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas and the University of the Arts.
Kerry Harker-Roth - Viola
Kerry Harker-Roth teaches viola, string methods and pedagogy (undergraduate and graduate) at Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, PA. She also serves as director of the Messiah University Summer Orchestra Camp. As an educator, Kerry often gives guidance to area string teachers and has enjoyed guest conducting elementary and middle school festivals in PA, NY, Texas and North Carolina.
Kerry is a violist with the York Symphony Orchestra in York, PA and also performs frequently in the Harrisburg/York PA area. She currently maintains a large private studio of viola and violin students, both Suzuki and traditional of all ages.
Kerry holds degrees from Houghton College and the Eastman School of Music in pedagogy, viola and music education.
